X-Lite or Eyebeam will be the softphone you will need to use in conjunction with
the Dialer. You may download a free version of X-Lite by
clicking here

Once you have properly installed X-Lite, using your mouse, right click on
the display screen and select SIP Account Settings

Next click on the Add button in order to add your softphone configuration.

Please have your extension number, softphone password, and domain ready
(provided by your administrator). Please fill the fields below appropriately.
Then check Domain, under Send outbound via:

Click the top tab named Topology
Under IP address select Use local IP address

Click the top tab named Advanced

Set Reregister every to 2000 seconds

Under Advanced Options uncheck Use report
4) Then click on the OK button then click on the Close
button
If you have configured the softphone properly it will register and display
the following:
Ready
Your Username is: XXXX
*If you will not be receiving incoming calls through this softphone then you may
want to select the AA (Auto- Answer) button, which would automatically place you
in a conference call when logging into the Dialer without requiring you to
physically answer the softphone.
